In Spring 2006 over 1,000 apple trees were planted and a further 1,000 were planted in Spring 2007. A further 2,500 were planted in Spring 2008. We grow nearly 500,000 apples at Ballyhoura Apple Farm. The picture below shows an aerial view of the first 2,000 apple trees.
