Our Red Mulled is a blend of Pure Irish Apple Juice, special spices with a dash of pure Irish blackcurrant juice, already pre-mulled for eight hours and ready to just heat and serve. Our Red Mulled Juice is 100% alcohol free, preservative free, additive free and free from any artificial colours.

Ballyhoura Apple Farm is located at Clashganniv outside Churchtown village in North County Cork. Maurice Gilbert is the full time co-owner*** / manager of Ballyhoura Apple Farm and is busy developing this exciting rural business by attending several farmers' markets throughout Munster weekly as well as working on new product development and marketing. Each year the crop is pressed into apple juice and marketed as Ballyhoura Pure Irish Apple Juice and several other apple products.
Most of life
The experience of direct selling has been lost for many years but is now being revived by the many farmers’ markets and food fairs throughout the country. Also part of the Ballyhoura Apple Farm sales is dedicated to mail order which fosters the vital communication link between producer and consumer. Everyone loves to get a parcel in the post.
Sustainable
The fruit and vegetable used in Ballyhoura Apple Farm juices support other food producers in the local community and help to create and sustain local employment. Our use of recycled packaging, glass bottles and wooden bins and NO AIR MILES helps us maintain a low carbon footprint. The overall “cost” to the community represents really good value.
Health and Wellness
Health and wellness is to fore in our product development. It is Maurice’s belief that the blending of our juices must contribute to the overall well ness of our customers. This is evident in the choice of blends already developed.
Keeping it real
The tradition of apple growing in Ireland and Churchtown in particular - where Ballyhoura Apple Farm’s orchard is located - goes back to the cider apple orchards planted by Colonel William Taylor in the 1700s. This tradition needs be nurtured and developed as the climate conditions in Ireland is perfect for the production of world class apples and added value apple products.
